What are your hours of operation?
Rain - Spa & Boutique is closed on Mondays, open Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m. ­ 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. ­ 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. ­ 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. ­ 3 p.m. Please note that we are closed on Sunday during July and August.

Where are you located?
Rain - Spa & Boutique is located in the outparcel of the 503 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, Long Island.

Directions from the South Shore:
Take Southern State Parkway to Exit 28AN (Route 135 North). Exit at Woodbury (Exit 14E). We are less than 1 mile on the north side of Jericho Turnpike between South Woods and Woodbury Road.

Directions from the North Shore:
Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 44N or the Northern State Parkway to Exit 36B (Route 135 North). Exit at Woodbury (Exit 14E). We are less than 1 mile on the north side of Jericho Turnpike between South Woods and Woodbury Road.

How do I book an appointment?
Call Rain - Spa & Boutique at 516-921-5SPA (5772) to book your appointment. We recommend that you call at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance to book Saturday and Sunday appointments and 6 to 8 weeks in advance for larger groups. If you would like special arrangements for your group, or a catered lunch, please let us know at the time of your booking. When you schedule an appointment that includes 2 or more services a credit card and/or gift certificate number is required to reserve your appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?
As a courtesy to our clients and therapists, we require the following notice for any date change or cancellation:

* 24-hour notice for appointments scheduled Tuesday through Thursday
* 48-hour notice for Friday, Saturday and Sunday appointments
* 72-hour notice for appointments scheduled with 2 or more services

Please note that a 50% cancellation fee will be charged without sufficient notice as stated above. No-shows will be charged 100% for all services and packages.

Do you schedule private parties?
Yes. Be sure to call 6 to 8 weeks in advance for large parties and notify the spa coordinator if you would like any special arrangements or a catered lunch. A 25% gratuity will be added to each service for private parties of six or more. All gratuities are to be paid in cash. Based on the size of the party, an additional spa fee will be charged starting at $100.

How far in advance should I arrive before my appointment?
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so that you may fill out a client profile to prepare for your service. Please consider leaving your valuables at home where they are most safe. Rain - Spa & Boutique is not responsible for your personal belongings. Please dress comfortably. We hope you enjoy your time spent with us.

What is your gratuity policy?
Rates do not include gratuity, which is both appropriate and appreciated. A 25% gratuity will be added to each service for private parties of 6 or more. All gratuities are to be paid in cash.

In order for waxing to be most effective hair length should be 1/8 to 1/4 inches long depending on the thickness of the hair.

Are there any Spa services I should not receive due to certain health conditions?
Yes. Services that involve the application of heat are not advised if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or a heart condition.

Yes. Rain - Spa & Boutique does have gift certificates that are available in any dollar denomination and can be used toward any services or products.

Accelerated shipping is available. We use standard shipping services that have a delivery time of approximately 5 ­ 10 business days and overnight services that have a delivery time of 3 ­ 5 business days. Overnight services are available for most items.
